Victor is an Associate with the Firm’s Dispute Resolution Department, Arbitration, Energy and Tax Departments. His major areas are Commercial and Civil Litigation, Tax Advisory and Litigation, Employment Advisory and Litigation, Commercial Arbitration.

Victor holds an LLB (Hons) degree from the prestigious Makerere University School of Law and Merit Postgraduate Diploma in Legal Practice from the Law Development Centre. Before joining the firm as a Legal Trainee and subsequently as an Associate, Victor undertook his Clerkship at ALN Uganda – MMAKS Advocates.

At the firm, Victor supports and has acted for various clients on a wide range of disputes inclusive of Breach of Contract and Mortgage disputes at the Commercial Division of the High Court, Debt Recoveries arising from unsecured loan facilities, Invoice Discounting Facilities and Vehicle Asset Financing/ Lease Facilities, disputed Insurance Claims at the Insurance Appeals Tribunal and the Commercial Division of the High Court, Challenging Taxation Assessments at the Tax Appeals Tribunal and Claims of Unlawful Termination at the Labour Office and the Industrial Court.

Victor has also successfully worked on advisories to various entities in the Energy sector. Victor has participated in the advising on Spillover claims arising from termination of Electricity Generation and Distribution licenses, Change in law leading to a breach of various clauses in Electricity Generation Framework Agreements. With such advisories, he has acquired enviable experience on drafting, interpreting and negotiating project documents and agreements in the Energy Sector.

Outside the firm, Victor is an ardent Blockchain – Bitcoin Educator and represents various Startups that are fostering Bitcoin education and actively lobbying for Bitcoin adoption and Regulation as a payment system in Uganda. He has also contributed to the Blockchain component in the Capital Markets Authority (Amendment) Bill 2023 pending before the Parliament of Uganda.

Victor is an Athlete in his own right and has been playing Basketball for 10(Ten) years and he is also a good chess player.
