Horace Nuwasasira is a Principal Associate at Signum Advocates and previously Chairperson of the firm’s Senior Management Team, with over eight years’ post-admission experience as a dedicated arbitration and litigation practitioner. He works principally in the firm’s Dispute Resolution and Arbitration Practice, with a particular niche in commercial and employment litigation, arbitration, insolvency and debt recovery, and is known for unpacking complex legal problems and delivering practical, commercially aware solutions.

His dispute resolution practice spans a range of sectors, including financial services, insurance,telcoms, transport and logistics, and healthcare. Prior to joining Signum Advocates, Nuwasasira previously worked as a Team Leader of Litigation & Dispute Resolution at CR. Amanya Advocates & Solicitors (2017–2020) and trained earlier at ENSafrica Advocates, representing the firm’s international and local clientele.

He acts for a client roster that includes Stanbic Bank, Finance Trust Bank, Old Mutual, Britam Insurance, Bolloré Logistics and Liquid Telecom. His notable mandates include being part of the team that represented the Specialized Hospital in a USD 400 million hospital dispute and judicial review work for the Pharmaceutical Society of Uganda.
